Also SISCO showed great interest in
investing in water supply to the industrial estate of Jeddah. Hence,
KINDASA water Services was established to build and operate water
desalinations plants. Today KINDASA is the largest private sector water
producer in the region with a plant capacity of 37,000 m3/day built within
Jeddah seaport and a pipeline connecting the plant to Jeddah Industrial city.
In the water pipeline and
infrastructure TAWZEA was
established to build and operate water distribution networks within the
industrial estates.
ISNAD has been recently established to develop and operate the
supporting services (such as catering, medical, maintenance…ect) within the
industrial cities.
Plans are in a advanced stage to invest
in a new industrial estates in Jeddah. SISCO showed an interest in the project,
after completing necessary research and studies. The studies indicated that
shortage of building space and the existing heavy load on support services and
utilities had stretched existing facilities and essential services to the
limit, thereby hampering further expansion of Jeddah’s one and only industrial
city
Our long term vision and broad
objectives is to work hand in hand with public and private sectors for the
prosperity of our national economy and development of industry, commerce and
services.
