- Red Sea Gateway Terminal Co. was established to develop and operate the 3rd world-class container terminal in Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP)

• KINDASA was established to become the Kingdom’s first privately owned water desalination plant in the private sector, with a daily capacity of 14,000 cubic meters started in the year 2002.
• KINDASA produces and provides desalinated water mainly to Jeddah Islamic Port, Industrial Cities along with a number of major independent customers.
• Since 2004, the plant has expanded its capacity to 39,000 cubic meters, an increase in capability of 200%.
• The company has constructed a pipeline connecting the station with the industrial city in order to distribute water through the city’s network .
• The company has recently entered the Yemeni market through a JV with a Yamani company.
• As a new sector, the company has established a new Marin water transportation Company in Jeddah with an ownership of 70% to provide desalinated water to ships in JIP. The new company has started operation in 2010.
